Wormy Chestnut is a blend of species from the East Gippsland region in Victoria. It is rich in warm ashy and chocolate tones, with a rustic feel.
Deep red gum veins formed by fire, ambrosia beetle marks, pin holes and squiggly worm marks are all reflected in Australian Wormy Chestnut.
It holds a high Janka rating of 8.1kN, making it the perfect choice for flooring.
It is available in solid timber flooring widths of 85mm and 130mm, and 19mm and 14mm thickness.
